The scheme welcomes enquiries from those interested in joining. It is run on a voluntary basis and works in close partnership with St. John Ambulance and Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
Please complete the on-line enquiry form if you are interested in joining. Documented evidence of qualifications and a CV will be required after the initial enquiry is processed.
For doctors joining the Scheme, a mentor will be allocated and new members will accompany them on active duty as an observer. Once deemed competent they will then be eligible to undertake independent duties. A range of standard operating procedures (SOPs) are in place and all Scheme members are expected to familiarise themselves with them and work within their guidance.
