Minimum criteria for independent duty as WYMRT doctor:
* Primary qualification (MBChB or equivalent)
* Full GMC registration
* Evidence of cover from the individual’s medical defence organisation
* Resuscitation course certified - ALS and ATLS
* 18/12 postgraduate experience
* At least 4 months Emergency Medicine experience at SHO/FY2 level
* Observational/Training shifts (number tailored to experience)
* Member of St. John Ambulance
Desirable criteria:
* Broad hospital based critical care experience
* Previous PHC experience (e.g. motorsports/event cover/etc.)
* MIMMS
* APLS/EPLS
* PHECC/PHTLS/ATACC
* DipIMC (RCSEd)
