West Yorkshire Medic Response Team (WYMRT) helped
support Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) as part of
the response to the Rail Crash in Cumbria on the 23rd
February 2007.
A team of doctors, dispatched by YAS, were transported in the WYMRT response car to the site of the crash to help with the rescue effort following a request for additional support from North West Ambulance Service.

WYMRT Funding Success!

WYMRT has successfully secured a two year funding
package from the Leeds Hospital Fund (www.lhfhealthplan.co.uk).
The significant donation will be used to help further the work of the Scheme.
A formal presentation of the cheque was made by representatives from the LHF to WYMRT members today at the SJA County Headquarters in Ossett.
