An underpinning part of the Scheme's ethos is the ongoing eduction of members. This not only allows new members to learn about pre-hospital care, but also facilitates the continuing professional development of existing members.
Working in the pre-hospital care environment demands high levels of professionalism and team work - through a combined education program, members from different backgrounds can better understand each others roles.
Educational meetings take place on a monthly basis, are free to attend and are held in the ED training room at Leeds General Infirmary. They consist of both didactic components and practical exercises.
Forth coming meetings:
Currently on break for the summer period - will resume in September.
